I use painting to capture and expand unstable moments.

In diverse, unpredicted situations, events unfold in unique ways, causing landscapes to shift and distort, resulting in instability. While some of these distortions may be visible, my intentionis to interpret and convey aspects that extend beyond immediate perception.

I imagine that in these moments of shifting landscapes, flashes or waves pass by us. They are not fixed forms but appear in different ways, depending on the moment of change. These moments are fleeting, almost invisible. In fact, they cannot be fully sensed through ordinary perception of time or sight; they must be felt through a different kind of awareness. Through painting, I aim to reveal these moments. By brushing them onto the canvas, I hold onto and expand experiences that would otherwise be quickly forgotten or entirely unnoticed.

The selected moments are drawn from various visual experiences I have encountered. Once captured, these images are presented independently of their original context and interpreted according to my personal perspective, expressed in ways that respond to each moment of change.

The situations I explore are made up of diverse materials, chosen on multiple levels and not organized all at once. They appear as symbolic landscapes or objects, or as scenes carrying their own narratives.

Through the exhibition, these works are thoughtfully rearranged to create new contextual relationships. Instead of  viewing each image in isolation, presenting the works together, each conveying seemingly distinct stories, does not result in a single, easily discernible narrative. However, they strangely echo one another, creating something that can ultimately be understood inductively, as if revealing a larger story through repetition and connection.
