Press release

Gallery Chosun will host a solo exhibition by Australian artist Bridget O’Brien, from September 10 to October 8. Titled 《IN A PATHLESS LAND》, the exhibition features O’Brien’s drip paintings, continuing the work developed at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art’s Changdong Studio. At first glance, her works may appear as random splashes of colour on white walls, but each piece is the result of long hours, repeated trial and error, and sustained effort.

The vivid colours and intriguing lines create dynamic narratives that leave a lasting impression on viewers. While the exhibition primarily focuses on large-scale wall works, a few pieces on traditional Koran paper (Hanji) are also included, offering a glimpse into the boundless potential of this young artist.
