Passing by: Jonggeon Lee

From October 14 to November 6, Gallery Chosun will host 《Passing By》 a solo exhibition by Jonggeon Lee. This marks Lee’s first solo exhibition in two years. The works continue his series using timber from actual houses, capturing traces of everyday life, and offer a deeper look into his artistic world. 

《Passing By》 presents the ambiguous landscapes that emerge when the cultural and architectural qualities of materials are transformed into sculpture. The exhibition invites viewers to explore how the structure of a house, something we often “pass by” in daily life, and the memories it holds, come into dialogue.
