This group exhibition includes research-based work that reflects on painting in relation to multiple networks. Using discarded clothing found near Geumcheon Art Factory, the artists created paintings that function as both flat surfaces and three-dimensional objects, carrying social meanings tied to function, gender, labour and status. Gaps formed by translucent silk between dismantled and reconnected fabrics point to a pure possibility that can be reached only through artistic gesture.
