In the solo exhibition ⟪Air within Us⟫, Fay Shin visualises a shared field of flow that moves beyond the boundary of the self toward “we”, inspired by imagined air circulating inside each body. Using a wide range of materials; canvas, linen, cotton, denim, silk, and suit fabric, combined with spray, watercolour, and dye, the artist built richly textured surfaces that evoke a tactile, almost untouchable visual experience. Key works such as “Bones and Pools” are presented.
