The artist installed thin paint vinyl on all four walls of the exhibition space and painted on it, experimenting with how specific materials and methods challenge conventional ideas of painting. These site-specific, temporary experiences, allow the artist to reflect on what makes a painting “good”, what constitutes a “bad” painting, and the standards behind these judgments.
