Bona Park is a visual artist working across video, sound, installation and performance. Her performative works move beyond traditional art forms, offering audiences new ways of experiencing art. 『When Attitude Becomes Art』 is her first art essay, where she closely examines how contemporary artists engage with the world and their work. The book explores the ethical imagination within their practice and frames this as a matter of attitude.
The title references the 1969 exhibition When Attitude Become Form at Kunsthalle Bern, Switzerland. In the exhibition, “attitude” was used to question the existing order, push new forms, and reject established norms. Park believes this spirit continues in the work of artists today.
